TBICoE offers training on TBI management from prevention to recovery for health care providers. TBI educators, known as network dissemination coordinators, are available to provide training on clinical tools and patient resources.
What is a Network Dissemination Coordinator?
An NDC is a TBICoE team member who promotes our mission by providing resources and training on TBI-related issues. Previously known as regional education coordinators they have a new name, but the mission is the same.
What does an NDC do?
- Increase awareness and understanding of clinical care standards of practice for TBI.
- Train health care teams who treat service members and veterans with TBI.
- Promote TBICoE clinical tools.
- Provide TBI resources to service members, veterans, families, and caregivers.
- Conduct outreach activities.
- Inform leaders of the impact of TBI on unit performance.
How do I find an NDC?
NDCs are aligned with the Defense Health Networks and are embedded in a TBI Specialty Care Clinic, a VA Polytrauma Center, or an Intrepid Spirit Clinic. Email us using the button below to connect with an NDC.
