The National Intrepid Center of Excellence Traumatic Brain Injury Outpatient Program provides:
- Diagnostic evaluations
- Treatments
- Follow-up care for traumatic brain injuries of all severities
Patients work with providers and case managers to get personalized outpatient rehabilitation services, symptom management, and treatment plans. Rehabilitation team providers meet regularly to discuss and monitor patients’ progress and to make sure patients receive the care that meets their unique needs and goals. Treatment continues on a case-by-case basis to help patients return to their highest level of functioning for as long as providers recommend to support healing and recovery.
TBI Education
In addition to clinical care, TBI education is a key part of any treatment plan. TBI education courses are offered through the clinic for both patients and families, including one-on-one sessions, TBI basics classes, and additional family education.
Eligibility
Must meet the following criteria:
- Department of Defense beneficiaries 18 and older diagnosed with a TBI
