Ear tubes, also called pressure equalization tubes, are small, hollow tubes made of plastic or metal that are inserted surgically through the eardrum (tympanic membrane) to equalize air pressure in the middle ear with pressure outside the ear.
This model is useful for patient education, professional training and patient use.
