Guest Presenter: Alexander Gardetto, MD has made significant contributions to the field of reconstructive surgery, particularly in developing new techniques for soft tissue reconstruction in the face and hand. His research has provided precise anatomical descriptions of facial soft tissue layers, foundational for many reconstructive and aesthetic surgeries. He considers his work on the treatment and prevention of phantom limb and neuroma pain using the TSR (Targeted Sensory Reinnervation) technique as a highlight of his career. Since 2016, he has been the founder and director of the Brixsana Clinic in Italy and currently holds prominent positions in both clinical and academic settings.
