The DHA Immunization Healthcare Division's Respiratory Syncytial Virus Lunch and Learn is an educational opportunity covering RSV disease and methods for preventing disease or reducing complications from RSV infection.
Topics to be covered include the three vaccines available for older adults and which older adults would benefit the most from vaccination. The discussion will also address the newborn risk of RSV infection along with methods of protecting the newborn by passive immunity through maternal immunization during pregnancy or monoclonal antibody therapy after birth.
