Headquartered in Portsmouth, Virginia, Defense Health Network Atlantic comprises military hospitals and clinics mainly along the Atlantic coast. The network includes military hospitals and clinics in New England, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Illinois, and the Naval Hospital in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, is a joint DOD/VA health care facility providing primary care and specialty health services, including mental health care, women’s health services, treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder, foot care (podiatry), vision care (optometry, ophthalmology, and cataract surgery), orthopedics, and more to beneficiaries at the Great Lakes Naval Station in North Chicago. | Visit Us Online

Located at Fort Eustis, Virginia, McDonald Army Health Center offers adult and pediatric primary care, troop medical services, specialty care and ambulatory surgical services with McDonald surgeries performed onsite at Langley Air Force Base. In May 2019, we expanded services and established a community based medical home in Williamsburg, Virginia, which offers adult and pediatric primary care, laboratory, pharmacy, and physical therapy. We partner with Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, United States Air Force Hospital Langley, and the Veterans Administration Hospital, Hampton, Virginia, to provide care for more than 27,000 enrolled beneficiaries. | Visit Us Online

Naval Hospital Beaufort consists of the hospital and two Branch Health Clinics - one at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island and the other at Marine Corps Air Station, Beaufort. Naval Hospital Guantanamo Bay is located on Naval Station Guantanamo Bay in Cuba. We provide health care and medical support to the Joint Task Force and Fleet Hospital personnel, numerous federal and civil service employees, and various foreign national residents hailing from the Philippines, Jamaica, and Cuba, as well as detainees and individuals apprehended attempting to illegally enter the United States. We also provider medical and logistical assistance to Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard units during both deployment and redeployment phases. | Visit Us Online

Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Beaufort Navy Reservists post for group photo

During the summer months, NMRTC requests support of Navy Reservists to assist in the high volume of recruits that come through Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island. The reservists will spend anywhere from 14 days to 29 days with the Navy Medicine and Training Unit aboard MCRD Parris Island to support the Recruit Medical Readiness department.
