Welcome to the GEIS ProMIS Application
About ProMIS
The Proposal Management Information System program is a web-based application used to facilitate program management at the AFHSD's Global Emerging Infections Surveillance Branch. Investigators in the GEIS partner network submit proposals for funding consideration and GEIS Program Office staff monitor the progress of those projects.
ProMIS Users
ProMIS is available to authorized users including U.S. military and civilian public health and medical research personnel, associated contractors, and other U.S. inter-agency public health personnel. While contractors working with relevant DOD organizations can obtain access to ProMIS, all GEIS proposals must have a U.S. government employee as principal investigator.
NOTE 1: ProMIS has now moved to the Military Information Platform. As of March 1, the legacy system will no longer be used any information logged into the system after this date will be lost.
NOTE 2: The MIP is a secured environment requiring use of a DOD Common Access Card. Until further notice, ProMIS will no longer be available to any non-CAC users.
