Immunization Essentials Course, March 2025

The Immunization Essentials Course is a virtual course conducted over two days (4.5 hours each day) and is designed to ensure healthcare personnel are trained in vaccine policy, vaccine safety, and effectiveness.

Healthcare personnel working within Military Treatment Facilities or affiliated field settings who manage vaccine programs or administer vaccines are encouraged to attend this course, hosted by the IHD Pacific Region Vaccine Safety Hub. Our expert-led sessions deliver practical insights and foster meaningful discussions on a wide range of immunization topics.

Join the DHA Immunization Program’s TEAMS channel to attend this course and to receive important information about immunizations. You can request to join the channel by emailing dha.ncr.DHA-Pub-Health.mbx.ihd-education@health.mil.

This course is approved for up to 8 hours of Continuing Education Units, based on attendance for both days of live instruction. Each lecture offers 0.5 to 1.5 continuing education credit. You can register on JKO by searching for Course number DHA-US1473, Section 001. You can register for CE through MODS with the activity ID # 2024-1227 starting 30 days prior to the event.

This presentation will be recorded. However, continuing education credits will only be awarded to those who attend the live presentation.
