Program Description

Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) and the University of California San Diego (UCSD) have collaborated and established a civilian partnership that will allow four Navy Medical Corps Officers (one physician per year) to participate in UCSD's Radiation-Oncology residency program.  Individuals selected to participate in this program are administratively assigned to the Naval Medical Center San Diego and complete their residency training program at UCSD.  This provides the benefits of a FTOS program while the member remains in a FTIS status.
