Director of Medical Education
Col. (Dr.) Pamela J. Broderick is the Director of Medical Education at the 60th Medical Group, Travis Air Force Base, California. Col. Broderick has broad institutional responsibility for ensuring the 60th Medical Group produces high quality professionals versed in medical knowledge, patient safety, quality improvement, and research. She exercises oversight of 148 learners in 18 medical, dental, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, nurse anesthesia and social work training programs graduating approximately 70 fully qualified medical professionals yearly. Col. Broderick also oversees approximately 80 rotating medical students per year, and she advises the Commander on matters of medical research occurring at the facility.
Col. Broderick commissioned through the United States Air Force Academy and graduated in 2001. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Col. Broderick completed psychiatry specialty training in 2009 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio and completed specialty training in forensic psychiatry in 2020 at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Prior to her current position, Col. Broderick was a Master Clinician and Mental Health Director at the 60th Medical Group in Travis Air Force Base, California.
Col. Broderick’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters and the Army Commendation Medal.
Col. Broderick is a member of The Society of Uniformed Services Psychiatrists and the American Academy of the Psychiatry and the Law.
