Medical Student Rotation Information

We welcome Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) 3rd and 4th year students to rotate with us for Family Medicine clerkships. USUHS and Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) 4th year medical students are welcome for Sub-Internships or “audition rotations”.

Family Medicine Rotation Details

• 4-week rotation (5-weeks for USU core clerkship rotation)
• Scheduled with PGY2, PGY3 and faculty in both inpatient, Labor & Delivery, and outpatient clinics to include Warhawks (active duty) clinic
• Additional time spent in vasectomies, acupuncture, botox for migraines, minor procedures, and sports medicine specialty clinics
• Monday/Tuesday/Thursday didactics weekly in the mornings
• Teach Day didactics at UNMC on alternating Wednesdays
