TRICARE Vaccine Coverage

TRICARE is the health care program for almost 9.5 million beneficiaries worldwide—including active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, retirees, their families, survivors, certain former spouses and others registered in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System, or DEERS.

TRICARE covers age-appropriate doses of vaccines, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

There are three ways you can get these vaccines:

If you live overseas, you can get your vaccines at military hospitals or clinics or TRICARE-authorized civilian providers.
