Hospital Corpsman Third Class Jeffrey L. Wiener was killed during a firefight with insurgents on May 7, 2005, in western Iraq. The 32-year-old Hospital Corpsman was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. Grieving family and friends gathered on May 16, 2005 to bid their final farewells to their fallen husband, father, son, and brother at the Calverton National Cemetery in New York.
